It is recommended by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveys (RICS) that all people, when buying a home carry out a full home buyers survey or a full building survey of your property prior to purchase.
You may want to get a separate survey carried out for drainage, gas and wiring which are generally not covered in a standard home buyers survey (home buyers report), or building survey
